Gap Explorer

Turn Detected Gaps into structural references.

Gap Explorer is the second step after Check Input. It takes controlled Detected Gap terms and surfaces related Patterns and useful Lenses without turning the result into a diagnosis, score, or blame claim.

Check Input maps controlled gap terms to related Patterns. Useful Lenses are derived through the Pattern -> Lens matrix. Issues are not used as Check Input Step 2 targets.

How It Works

  1. Start with Detected Gaps from Check Input.
  2. Match each controlled gap term against the Check Input Matrix.
  3. Resolve related Pattern codes.
  4. Open the related Pattern references.
  5. Derive useful Lenses through the Pattern -> Lens Matrix.
  6. Use those references to inspect what structure may be missing, unclear, crossed, or unstable.

These are related structural references, not a final diagnosis.

Important Boundary

Gap Explorer does not route Detected Gaps to Issues. Issues are visible failure surfaces. Gap Explorer routes controlled gap terms to Patterns, then derives useful Lenses through the Pattern -> Lens Matrix.

The goal is to inspect structure, not to prove cause.

Future Input

This page will later accept either a full Check Input output or only a Detected Gaps list.

Parser behavior is not active yet. The derived references below are generated from the current Check Input index.

Accepted Gap Terms

Every accepted line must match: [gap type] [element].
